Request for Shelter Applications

Who We Serve

Valley Restart Shelter serves families, seniors, and individuals who have served in the armed forces who are experiencing homelessness in the Hemet–San Jacinto Valley.

About Our Program

Valley Restart Shelter is a structured, short-term emergency shelter program designed to help individuals and families stabilize and begin the process of rebuilding their lives. Our program operates on a 30/60/90-day model, based on availability, individual need, and program participation.

Program Expectations

Residents are expected to actively participate in case management, follow program guidelines, and work toward identified goals during their stay. Our program emphasizes accountability, stability, and progress toward permanent housing or next-step placement.

After You Apply

Once an application is submitted, it is reviewed by our case management team. Due to high demand, there is often a waiting list.
A case manager will contact applicants as soon as possible to:

  • Confirm receipt of the application

  • Let them know whether a waiting list is in place

  • Provide guidance on next steps and available resources while waiting

Response Time

Our team works to respond as quickly as possible; however, response times may vary depending on application volume and bed availability.
