Navigation Outreach Services

Valley Restart has provided Outreach services since 2017. The Navigation/Outreach program focuses on chronically homeless Individuals and families that have been homeless for over a year. They live in cars, under bridges, and in other places not meant for human habitation.

About Us

The purpose of the Navigation Outreach program is to assist individuals by navigating them through obstacles they may run into while looking for housing. Our Navigation team works to gain trust, providing services they need to find hope and restart their lives. 

 

We collaborate with medical, mental and behavioral health services, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation organizations within our community to assist our clients.

Services:

Navigation team assists in the following with the goal of getting individuals off the streets and into shelter and eventually into permanent housing.

 

  • DMV ID vouchers

  • California Birth certificate vouchers

  • Transportation to DMV, DPSS, courts, medical, and any other essential appointments

  • Assistance accessing mental health and medical services.

  • Assistance applying for Cal Fresh, SSI, SSDI, EDD

  • Veteran DD-214 Documentation

  • Showers

  • Clean clothes

  • Dinner meals

  • Hygiene products

  • Snack bags

  • Kindness and Compassion

  • Housing
