Housing Assistant

Mayra Juarez

When I first started this career, I didn’t fully understand what being a case manager meant. But now that I’m in it, I see the profound impact it can have on people’s lives, and my own life too.

This role allows me to serve as a bridge between individuals and the resources they need — whether that’s housing, medical care, mental health services, or community support. It’s about more than just solving immediate problems. It’s about walking with people through difficult times, helping them regain stability and dignity, and supporting them on their journey toward a better future.I value the human complexity of this work.

Every client has a unique story, and no two situations are ever the same. That’s what makes it both challenging and deeply meaningful.I’m grateful to Valley Restart for giving me the opportunity to grow in this profession and to be part of the change in people’s lives as they begin a new chapter.I like to serve my community and my church. I will eventually earn my bachelor's degree in social work. I am excited to be at VRS and contribute to the company in order to make a difference in peoples lives.
